Upgrades for the LDV T60 Trailrider  | TRANSPORT NEWS

This next-generation LDV T60 Trailrider now features its first in-house designed D20 diesel engine available from parent company SAIC, in teh form of a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder unit with a single scroll turbocharger that produces 120kW at 4,000rpm and 375Nm from 1,500rpm and Bosch’s third generation, high-pressure common rail direct fuel injection technology.

The T60 Trailrider incorporates the now standard suspension tune specifically for Australian conditions, offering a 5-Star ANCAP rating, 5-year warranty and an ABN driveaway price from $37,990.

The interior claims a superior fit and finish with high-grade plastics, leather trimmed seats, Apple CarPlay, smartphone connectivity and one of the biggest touchscreens in its class. Trailrider 2 has blind spot monitoring, six airbags, 360-degree rear view camera, lane departure warning and tyre pressure monitoring.

The exterior incorporates black trim accents, blacked out logos and badging, and a new sports roll bar and a Mountain Top roll cover for the tray, plus 19-inch 12-spoke black alloys, side steps and a nudge bar. The tray features a robust, heavy-duty spray-on tub liner.

Paint colour options include Blanc White, Metal Black and Lava Grey, or Jewel Blue and China Red with pricing listed from $37,990 (ABN holders) for the manual and $39,990 (ABN holders) for the automatic.
