Foton Automotive Australia, the importers of the Chinese manufactured newcomer to the light commercial market released a single cab version of its Tunland ute range yesterday.
The brand is marketed in this country by the Phelan family of Grant Phelan and his sons Adam and Grant as a new business following on from their success with bu

The strength of the Foton Tunland is underpinned by the use of a Cummins 2.8 litre, four cylinder, turbocharged and inter cooled, common rail injected diesel. The driveline also includes well know brand names that include Getrag transmissions and Dana axles.
Available in 2WD and 4WD the pricing starts at $24,990 with a $2,000 premium for all wheel drive.
Launching with a dealer group of 25 outlets, Grant Phelan told Delivery Magazine its number is expected to increase to 30 dealerships before the start of 2014. The company expects to sell 850 units in 2014 as it builds the brand, expanding the model range into including an SUV and forward control vans and people movers.
