Delivery Magazine joins SSangYong Motors Australia for the launch of the all-new Musso, reintroducing a nameplate of which many owners of the earlier model retain fond memories.
Musso, which apparently in Korean means Rhino, recently made its introduction to the UK market and for Australia much of the spec’ is similar. With a 3500kg towing ability, a Euro6 emissions rated 2157cc turbocharged diesel and the choice of six-speed manual or automatic transmissions, one fo the big drawcards is the seven-year warranty and roadside assistance terms for new buyers.
Maximum power of 133kW at 4,000 rpm is matched by peak torque of 400Nm rated at 1,400-2,800rpm and with combined fuel economy figures of 7.9 l/100kms it’s a highly competitive package, especially when considering the price range of $30,000 – $40,000. The top of the line Ultimate offers 20-inch alloys, HID headlamps, sunroof, 360 degree surround vision camera, leather seats that are both heated and ventilated, speed sensitive steering, lane departure assist, emergency braking and blind spot warning.
