In June this year, LDV beat the 300 sales a month barrier for the first time, prompting the importer to  extend the EOFY deal until the end of July that made it possible  to purchase an automatic G10 Turbo Diesel for the price of a manual, at $28,990 driveaway, prior to r the launch of the LDV T60 ute and D90 SUV.
“The auto for the price of a manual has worked extremely well for LDV because it reinforced two critical messages to potential customers, that the G10 is now available with a Turbo Diesel engine with a sophisticated automatic gearbox and that it is available with an unrivalled price and specification,” explains Dinesh Chinnappa, General Manager of LDV Automotive Australia.
VFACTS figures show that LDV sold 304 vehicles in June 2017, an increase of 91.2 per cent over the same month in 2017. In the first half of 2017, LDV sales rose by 40.7 over 2016 with 1,103 LDV vans sold.
